A Tragedy In Progress (Across Five Aprils) Announce Full Length
A Tragedy in Progress (the original line up of Across Five Aprils) will be releasing a full length album with Indianola Records in Spring 2012. The band, who earlier in the year released the EP “Going Down With the Ship” will be returning to Echelon Studios with Joseph McQueen (As I Lay Dying) in December to track the record. When asked about what to expect from the new record guitarist Jason Fields commented, “Going Down With the Ship was a record we made more or less for fun. We weren’t sure what the response to it would be, we just wanted to write some songs and go in the studio and lay them down. The new record I think will be deeper, both lyrically and musically. We want to push ourselves, out of our comfort zones, to make a record that is more progressive and representative of who we are, not who we were. While Going Down With the Ship was a bridge between the old and the new, we want the new record to stand on it’s on and still maintain the elements our fans appreciate.”
